Fall Semester 2021
This semester ACOS was very busy - bringing awesome events to TouroCOM Middletown. They hosted two Surgical Approaches to Medicine where Dr. Israelski came to the cadaver lab to demonstrate clinical correlates. They also held a Surgical Q&A virtual panel with Touro graduates. ACOS also collaborated with Circle K to host an on campus blood drive for the New York Blood Bank. The suture clinic was a huge success where the 3D Printing Club made the suture skin pads in house and residents at Garnet Health came to campus to teach a variety of suture ties and knots to our students. Dr. Israelski also came to campus to give a presentation regarding humanitarianism and surgical disease burden. ACOS partnered with Wilderness in Medicine Club to listen to Dr. Connington discuss forensic cases in the wilderness. And last but not least ACOS hosted an amazing trivia night at Equilibrium!Â
