National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD)

Mission Statement: To assure a future where rare diseases are not overlooked, in patient care, research, and drug development, NORD works with student organizations to facilitate opportunities for students to learn about rare diseases and the patient experiences. The purpose of NORD is to reach the next generation of professionals, advocates, researchers, and medical professionals and spread awareness and recognition of rare diseases, to establish professional relationships and partnerships, and to pursue future opportunities within the rare disease space.
