Wilderness in Medicine
Mission Statement: We intend to educate future physicians about the field of Wilderness medicine and the unique challenges therein: limited supplies, lack of hospital access, need for fast and decisive action. We intend to bring in specialists in survival skills and wilderness medicine to provide insight into the challenges and rewards of wilderness medicine. We will host workshops and trips to learn and utilize the skills in a remote setting.
